October Production Update

Winter is fast approaching and I know everyone is super excited about getting on snow. At this stage, we are finalizing all the parts for the bindings for production. My ultimate goal was to have everyone on the new bindings as their local resorts open up. With Arapahoe Basin opening today, unfortunately we are unable to hit that mark.  I can promise we will start shipping product out soon so everyone can have a ton of time on their killer new Launch Next Gen TM Bindings when the season really kicks in.

Also, as a special thanks to all of our pre-production supporters, we are only offering the bindings to the public on the Launch website and they will not hit our retailers until Fall 2018. As the exclusive team of Launch Next Gen TM Binding users this season, prepare to be stopped on the slopes by riders asking "Where did you get those amazing bindings?"

As we finish up production, we will certainly be giving you the heads up of the finished product going out and your expected delivery window. Thanks for sitting tight with us and we promise you will be very happy with the finished product. It will definately be worth the wait!

September Production Update

Now that the lazy days of summer are over and Fall is in the air, I am sure everyone is looking forward to snow falling and getting out on the slopes as soon as possible.  As promised, here is an update for our Kickstarter project that you so graciously helped support.

Since the campaign ended, we here at Launch Snowboards, have been working nonstop to produce the best and most functional snowboard binding possible. After a lot of diligent research and development, we have dialed down manufacturing and are finishing up the molds. We did run into a few things we wanted to tweak in the process in order to make our bindings as tool free and comfortable as possible. Functionality is our number one priority! Those few adjustments took a little extra time to perfect but it hasn’t set our delivery date back thus far.  I am confident everyone will be totally stoked with the finished product!

As we are going through the production process, I will certainly keep you all in the loop as I know each and every one of you are as excited about our Next Gen Bindings as we are!

I want to personally thank you for your support during the campaign and throughout the production process as we strive to produce the best and most innovative binding that has ever hit the market!

Hey Launch Snowboards backers, 

Surveys have been sent TODAY!

Through these backer surveys you will finalize your Next Gen TM Bindings color choices, sizes, shipping address, and add-on products! 

Be on the lookout for an email from BackerKit in your inbox.

Surveys will be sent out incrementally over the next 8 hours. If you don't see an email from us in that time, please check your SPAM and "Promotions" tab (if you are in Gmail).

Once the BackerKit survey is sent out, you will be sent an invitation to the same email address that you used to pledge with on Kickstarter. When you get your survey, click on the "Click Here to Respond!" button and you'll see a page that looks like this:

You'll notice a few important details here:

The Pledge Amount is the total amount of money that you contributed on Kickstarter, including shipping fees. The Pledge Level Selected shows the specific reward package you selected. Then, choose the country you're living in so we'll know where to ship your rewards, and click the huge, green "Get Started!" button

You'll go through four steps within the survey:

1) QUESTIONS

You'll be able to choose the color & size of your Next Gen TM Bindings:

2) ADD-ONS

You'll have the opportunity to purchase additional Launch Snowboards gear in the Add-Ons section. *Add-ons with a board purchase will ship immediately* Otherwise, add-on items will ship in the fall with the bindings. Did we mention we're offering FREE Shipping for all add-ons? You won't want to miss out on these deals!

3) SHIPPING

Here is where you'll give us your current shipping address. If you'd like to add any additional products to your order, you'll be asked to enter a credit card number to pay any remaining balance.

4) CONFIRM

Once that's done, you'll see a confirmation screen, showing that we've got your order, and that you're all set.

So, what happens next?

Here's a quick look into how the next couple weeks will pan out.

Two Week Window

Kickstarter has a 2 week window after the campaign ends where they hold all funds from the campaign. For us, this means April 6th, 2 weeks after our end date of March 23rd.

At the end of this window, Kickstarter will charge us their fee and payment processing fees and wire the remaining funds to us, following a 1-2 day holding period.

For those that had their credit cards rejected, please correct your credit card information within Kickstarter as soon as possible. If it remains uncorrected, I won't be able to send out your Launch Snowboards packages.

After this two week window, I will be posting a detailed update about the Post-campaign surveys I will be sending you. These surveys will allow you to confirm your order details and provide your shipping address, so be on the lookout.
