I know this sounds cliché, however, this motivational quote has rung so whole heartedly true thus far as we have been in the process of producing our Launch Next Gen TM binding. This long but exciting journey we have been on here at Launch Snowboards along with our engineers, developers and manufacturers started a few years ago when we decided to do a total redesign of our current generation bindings. The revolutionary step-in Launch Snowboard bindings that are currently on the market were designed by a highly acclaimed European designer of which earned him the prestigious EuroSIMA Innovation Award. Because the original design and functionality is so revolutionary, we have really had our work cut out for us to produce a newly redesigned product that can not only surpass the original but will totally blow your minds!
When we first presented our idea to our loyal Kickstarter backers we were almost finished with product research and development and starting to interview production teams and suppliers in order to make our dreams a reality. We could never foresee the glitches to come during the manufacturing stage and the delays it would cause.
At this time, we have made the difficult decision that because of the unexpected delays, we will be taking the spring and summer months to fine tune our Next Gen TM bindings. This was not an easy decision to make. Believe me when I say that I want to be out riding with these bindings as much as anyone. It finally came down to doing the only thing that was right, and that was giving you nothing less than the quality we promised, and you deserve.

Early February Update

Hello loyal backers!
Hope all is well since our last update! As stated in said update, we are currently making a few last second revisions to our bindings. The main tweak was on our high back. We are working with our factory and our designers to insure durability, responsiveness and comfort. As for the previous update we should be right in line with all dates mentioned. If anything changes we will certainly let everyone know. It is so exciting to be in the final stages of getting our Next Gen Bindings finished and out to you, our loyal supporters of this project!

January Update

Hey everyone,
Everyone who reached out directly has already received the below info.
We apologize for the delayed response on everything. We are a small crew and are in the middle of our trade show season and must admit we have been a bit disorganized as of late. Trust us when we say this has been a frustrating process for all of us at Launch as well.
We expected a smooth transition to the new manufacturing facility but unfortunately there were some unforeseen hiccups during production. Our ultimate goal is to provide a binding that will work as advertised and be of the best quality possible. We are working closely with the factory on a fix but please be patient as we do not have all of the answers at this time.
To be fully transparent, we expect to have a new ship date firmed up by the end of the week but as of now we are being quoted 45 days to finalize production and start shipping. We will be doing our best to continue answering all individual inquiries in the next few days as we make our way back to the office.

Hello Everyone,
Because winter is coming in strong at this point, I’m sure there is a decent chance many of you have at least had some time on snow all the while thinking, “The only way this day could get any better is if I had those rad new Launch Next-Gen bindings that I supported on Kickstarter!”
We here at Launch feel your pain and as of right now we are looking at a January 15 ship date. I know this is a little later than we originally expected but we really wanted to make sure that our product was spot on and we could avoid any of the issues that our competitors have had with new technology, such as recalls.
I know it seems like a long wait, but I’m sure once you receive these bindings we are certain that you will be very happy and glad we waited until the design was perfect.
Again, we are very sorry for the delay, but I know when you receive these bindings you will all be more than stoked. From the look, the fit, the feel, the features, and all the other details we have meticulously designed and perfected, the Launch Next-Gen binding will meet and far exceed all expectations!

November Update

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for their patience. We here at Launch have been non stop getting everything dialed down for production and delivery of our Next Generation TM bindings and get them to you, our supporters, when promised. As mentioned in our last update, we had some delays with production, and in the process we ultimately decided it was best to move manufacturing out of the original factory. But, the good news is, we partnered with a factory who has a much better understanding of our revolutionary technology as they have been leaders in manufacturing high quality bindings for years, both from an engineering aspect and overseeing production. So, needless to say, we are super pumped to have someone who has a great understanding of our vision and is busy working around the clock to get production finished so we can get them out to you!
I understand from some of the comments posted, there are people in the mix that have been taken advantage of on backed projects that weren't completed. To be completely honest, we don’t have that luxury. We are an established brand and pride ourselves on standing behind our word and products has been our number one priority since we were established in 2012. So, with that being said, we are keeping very long hours during what is coming into the holiday sea-son as well as the snowboarding season, to deliver the best and most revolutionary bindings to you, our loyal backers.
Soon after the holiday weekend we will have firm ship dates. Thank you again for your patience and I personally apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for any of you. Also, thank you again for your loyalty and we will be in touch soon.
